Product Updates: October 2024

We have been hard at work making changes to the VoltPro app and are excited to share some updates with you! Here's what's new in October:

Estimate discounts

You can now give your customers discounts at an estimate level. Discounts are calculated on the subtotal before tax.

Line items in estimate PDFs

Estimate PDFs are now more customizable. Instead of only rendering a subtotal or sections, you can now render estimate PDFs with all line items. Each line will show the item name and quantity.

Custom estimate subtotals

Want to define a set price for your estimate? Now you can. Custom subtotals allow you to define an estimate amount, regardless of items and markup. Simply click the pencil icon beside the estimate subtotal in the estimate editor.

Other updates

A whole host of bug fixes and minor updates were added. Some of these updates include:

• Text editor menus now stay visible as you scroll through long text inputs

• Assembly items maintain their order when applied to an estimate

• Service materials now use service costs instead of markup for simpler estimate calculation
